I graduated with Honors from the Clinical Skin program at the American Institute of Beauty, Largo, Florida, in 2018 and have received just under 30 different certifications. I also completed an additional 1200 hours as per the National Coalition of Esthetics Association (NCEA) and received the highest skin care credential available in the United States.
I am a wife, mom of 3 boys and a big sister. Always a Daddy’s girl, my passion for people must’ve come from my Father, Robert T. Curry, II, RN, BSN, CCRN, CEN, ECS, a Critical Care Nurse for one of the nation’s best Trauma Centers, Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. Vowing to “never let a patient look like they need a Nurse”, I undoubtedly inherited my bedside manner from him in that I take the utmost pride in ensuring I treat each of my clients with the attention and personalized care they deserve.
After working for beauty franchises and other spa owners, I decided that forcing myself to fit into others molds, boxed me in and did not allow for freedom of expression nor artistic control. Described as a “creative”, I decided to take over my future and do the very thing I sought out to do from the beginning, to empower and “make people beautiful”, but on my heart’s terms. As an Owner, I will support other “creatives” in their aesthetic career goals, which is for the mutual benefit of Skintimacy and all who enter. I am committed to building relationships and providing individualized experiences where the whole person feels nurtured and cared for. So, again I say:
“Let’s get close.”
